Brandon Silvers is another notable QB off the unemployment line joining Jamal Andrerson’s FCF Team The Kingpins. The FCF has continued to draw NFL/Professional level talent as before week 3 the league signed Martavis and Kelly Bryant, who both played in Week 3.
Silvers joins his 5th professional league after spending time in the NFL with the Jets, the AAF with the Express, the XFL (2.0) with the Seattle Dragons, and most recently with The Spring League’s Conquerors. Silvers could even be considered one of the more proficient passers of the modern spring/alt throwing for 19 Touchdowns and 2023 yards between The Spring, The AAF and the XFL. His 19 Touchdowns per our records at XFL News Hub are tied for first with Brooks Bollinger during his time in the UFL.
Many thought Silvers would transition over to the USFL as his name along with Chase Litton had circled around as possibilities for first round QB selections. Despite the injuries to Ben Holmes and Alex McGough, Silvers still did not have his name called by the league and has since been brought on by the FCF.
It does appear the Kingspins who are 0-3 are could use every bit of help for the remainder of the season. With Silvers, though he isn’t the biggest name in professional sports is definitely viewed as a competent quarterback. As the FCF continues to grow and stabilize though unorthodox by continuing to attract notable and recognizable talent the FCF may be able to be venue for several years and possibly out last many other Alt football leagues.
