It’s been a rough start for the new owners of the XFL. First, we hear about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and his family contracting COVID-19, and now, Dany Garcia has released a video in which she talks about how she tore her calf muscle while celebrating the purchase of the league.
She talks about how excited she was being the winning bid and while jumping around, she tore her calf muscle. After recovering for the past 8 weeks, she has re-examined everything in her life. She wants to move forward with the XFL in the most productive way possible.
Even though The Rock had the virus, and Dany tore a muscle, both of them are taking these opportunities to become the best leaders they can be for the XFL.
“Setbacks are moments for reassessment”
Dany Garcia
Just like them, we don’t see these as negatives. They show, without a shadow of a doubt they are fully committed to the XFL.
Check out the hat she is wearing in the video. Dany mentions she’s going to be “busier than ever”, and I know we are not the only ones ready for the XFL’s return.
If that doesn’t get your blood flowing, I don’t know what will.

Now that Vince McMahon no longer has any connection or ties with the XFL it would be GREAT if the new owners would come out and tell their fans when they plan on having their season. Whether 2021 or 2022 is there harm in stating what their plans are? If it’s 2012 then great, I can’t wait! But if it’s 2022 then as a fan we can just cool or jets and not concern ourselves.
