BattleHawks Kenny Robinson Waived By Carolina Panthers

Rookie Safety Kenny Robinson, who was a fifth-round pick of the Carolina Panthers was waived Sunday afternoon in order to make room on the 53-man roster for waiver claims.

While no guarantee is made, there is always a chance Robinson could clear waivers and land on the team’s practice squad.

Robinson, who left the NCAA (West Virginia) in order to play in the XFL was a standout player on the St. Louis BattleHawks defense posting two interceptions, which tied him for second-most in the league.

XFL News Hub will continue to monitor the situation.

If and it’s a big IF, but if the XFL plays in 2021 it would be great if players like Kenny Robinson would think about returning to their XFL teams where he could continue working on the things which kept him out of the NFL. The same is true for
his QB teammate Jordan Ta’mau. I realize that it’s sadly always about “money” but in Jordan’s case he’d have a much better chance of improving his game playing QB for the Battlehawk’s than he will sitting on the bench in K.C. waiting for the league MVP to grow old.
