Atlanta Falcons Sign Houston Roughnecks LB Edmond Robinson

The Atlanta Falcons land another XFL player in Houston Roughnecks LB Edmond Robinson. He joins DC Defenders TE Khari Lee.

Robinson was taken in the 3rd round of the Phase #3 portion of the 2020 XFL draft by the Roughnecks. He finished the shortened season with 22, tackles, 2 sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. That forced fumble and fumble recovery happened in a key game against the Dallas Renegades in the Texas Throwdown.

Robinson is a former 7th round pick of the Vikings in 2015. He also had stops with the Jets and Cardinals. He played his college ball at Newberry.
