Today at 7 pm ET, the USFL will hold its inaugural draft. With Round one set to be the QB selection portion. However, before today’s draft, there is a twist. The USFL put out the following on social media.
Our sources around the USFL draft tell us that all eight QB’s are in town for the draft. They have been flown into Birmingham for the event. The twist is that none of the players know what team they are on yet. They will find out, as we will at 7 pm ET. This is only for the first round of the draft, and no other players will be there.
After they are drafted, this will give players a chance to talk to media and on social right there at the event. So far, no names of the eight QBs have been leaked. But if you are in the Birmingham area and see a QB walking around, you know why they are there.
