Pep Hamilton has added new members to his XFL Washington DC football staff. Two names we have already reported and two names are new.
Back in April, we reported that Jeffrey Fitzgerald would be the Defensive Coordinator and Todd Washington will be the Tight end/tackle assistant coach. The two new names are Defensive line assistant coach Raymond Hamilton and Quarterback assistant coach Tederal Duralle White.
Ray “Sugar Bear” Hamilton played with the New England Patriots in the 70’s and was the defensive line coach for the Birmingham Iron of the Alliance of American Football (AAF) until it folded in 2019.
Ted White was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Prairie View A&M Panthers in 2018. Before coaching, he was the starting Quarterback for Howard University in the ’90s. In 1996 White was named the MEAC Player of the Year, MEAC Offensive Player of the Year and Black College Football Player of the Year. White bounced around the NFL and CFL as a backup Quarterback before starting his coaching career. In 2010 he was inducted into the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Hall of Fame.
