Kevin Gilbride Adds To XFL New York Coaching Staff

The XFL New York coaching staff under Head Coach/GM Kevin Gilbride continues to take shape. Gilbride added the following to his staff this week. Linebacker assistant coach Kevin Kelly, Wide receivers assistant coach Mike Miller and Offensive line assistant coach Ronnie Vinklarek.

We already reported on Kevin Kelly who was Defensive Coordinator for Bryant University. He was best known as the head coach at Georgetown University from 2006 to 2013.

Mike Miller was the Offensive Line coach at Westminster College a Division III NCAA school in Pennsylvania. He has 13 years’ experience in the NFL. Most notably with the Arizona Cardinals. We was the Wide receivers coach in 2008, when three of his wide receivers (Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, and Steve Breaston) each surpassed 1,000 yards for the season, becoming just the fifth trio in NFL history to do so.

Ronnie Vinklarek last job was as Offensive Line coach at Rice University from 2009 to 2017. He had coaching stops in NCAA, CFL, and NFL with the Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans.
