Manziel’s CFL stats are skewed for two reasons. 5 td’s vs 7 ints. Four of the int’s were in his first game in which he was thrown into the starter role with a new team after 3 days practice. He was obviously totally unprepared to play in that game…. but hey this Johnny Manziel. He only had 3 ints in the next 7 games and he had a QB rating above 90 for his last 5 games which was higher than Mitchell and Riley, two of the top CFL QB’s. He outplayed Bo Mitchell when Calgary came to Montreal and Calgary won the Grey Cup with Mitchell being the MVP. All this was accomplished while playing on the worst team in the CFL. Johnny Manziel can still play football.
