Aaron Ripkowski Just Waived From NFL Gets Chance At XFL

Former Green Bay Packers Fullback Aaron Ripkowski is getting a shot at the XFL. Ripkowski was waived by the Kansas City Chiefs on May 3rd, just one month ago.

Ripkowski played for the University of Oklahoma from 2011 to 2014 under head coach Bob Stoops. Stoops is now the Head Coach/GM for XFL Dallas.
The Green Bay Packers drafted Ripkowski in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

He played three seasons with the Packers from 2015 to 2017. Then was waved before the 2018 season. In early 2019 he signed a reserve/future contract with the Chiefs but was waived again on May 3rd.

The first of eight XFL Summer Showcases will take place this Friday, Jun 7th in Dallas. All XFL coaches are attending, but Bob Stoops has the scoop on his former player at Oklahoma.
