As the XFL progressed toward its February launch, it was our goal to find a partner with expertise on digital transformation specifically within the world of sports.
Today we are excited to announce our new multi-faceted partnership with Next League, who are building the leading technology services organization in sports, providing thought leadership, strategy, product design, software and systems development and integration, as well as the maintenance and operations of existing products and platforms.
Next League is truly the best partner in the market with that specialized focus. Our ability to stay ahead of digital trends and reach our global audience is absolutely critical, and with the support of Next League we will be able to create unique digital experiences as we seek to elevate the game of professional football.
Earlier this year, Next League helped relaunch the XFL’s flagship website and played a key role in the XFL’s team brand reveal in October, as team names and logos were debuted on the XFL’s Next League-managed online property.
Most recently, the XFL leveraged Next League’s capabilities to power its Draft Central, which featured an interactive draft board and a graphics generator used by the XFL’s social team to highlight picks.
Next League was also critical to support the integration of an in-venue draft board at the UFC Apex, where the Draft was hosted. The 2023 draft saw executives and coaches from all eight teams gathered to select their players. XFL.com also live-streamed the Quarterback selection show on November 15th using Next League’s digital products.
Now, Next League is working on elevating the live game experience for XFL.com, including the integration of live game data and statistics, allowing fans to follow all game, as well team and player news and results all in one place.
Together we will position XFL.com as the go-to resource for all XFL news both in and off-season.
