
The TV ratings are in for Week 3 of the XFL 2023 season. The XFL aired three games this past weekend on FX, with ESPN2 airing the Week 3 finale on Sunday night.
Ten of the XFL’s twelve games have aired on cable, with each XFL game airing on ESPN+. The league’s only two airings on network television ABC averaged over 1.5 million viewers. The XFL will not be back on ABC until Week 6.
The league’s first six cable telecasts have all been ranked in the top twelve out of 150 Cable TV shows in the desired 18-49 demographic. Let’s take a look at how the XFL fared this past weekend.
XFL 2023 Week 3 TV Ratings 3/4-3/5
Saturday night’s exciting Seattle Sea Dragons-Vegas Vipers game on FX at 7 pm ET averaged 528,000 viewers. The telecast ranked 24th out of 150 Cable TV shows in the 18-49 demographic.

Week 3 in the XFL featured a triple-header on Sunday afternoon. The opening game between the D.C. Defenders and St. Louis Battlehawks on FX averaged 665,000 viewers. The 2023 NFL combine which aired at the same time on NFL Network averaged 208,000 viewers. The XFL telecast on FX was rated 13th out of 150 Cable TV shows in the 18-49 demographic.

The second XFL afternoon game on FX between the Orlando Guardians and Arlington Renegades averaged 550,000 viewers. The telecast was ranked 23rd out of 150 Cable TV shows in the 18-49 demo.
The Sunday night XFL game on ESPN2 between the Houston Roughnecks and San Antonio Brahmas averaged 543,000 viewers. The evening XFL telecast was rated 15th out of the top 150 Cable TV shows in the 18-49 demographic.
WEEK 4 XFL TV SCHEDULE
The XFL’s run of cable exclusive airings continues this coming weekend.
Week 4 in the XFL sees the league’s games split on FX and ESPN2. The first two games will air Saturday evening on FX back to back. Followed by a doubleheader on ESPN2 this Sunday.

Too bad they don’t include streaming numbers! I guarantee the numbers would be alot higher. I don’t have cable or satellite, so I stream the games. Maybe someone should mention this to the powers that be in the XFL.
