After LA’s loss to the Houston Roughnecks in Week 1, head coach Winston Moss was ready to make changes early in the XFL season and made a statement to his players.
Johnson is no stranger to the Washington DC football. Playing briefly with the Washington Redskins in 2015.
This is a return to Washington, DC for @AXJ76 . Johnson had a stint with the Washington Redskins in 2015, which explains his relationship with RG3, Rashad Ross, etc.

He is now reunited with his former LA Wildcats teammate Rashad Ross who was also traded from LA during training camp.
