Roughnecks K Sergio Castillo Kicks Three Field Goals In Jets Loss

Since signing with the New York Jets three weeks ago. Roughnecks K Sergio Castillo made his second consecutive start. In the Jets’ first three possessions, each ended with a Castillo field goal. He hit from 39, 55, and 48 yards. He finishing the game 3 of 4 with his final kick blocked.

The Jets(0-8) loss the game 35-9 to the Kansas City Chiefs (7-1) at Arrowhead Stadium.

Jets starting K Sam Ficken had been sidelined with a groin injury, no word on when he will return. Even if he returns and Castillo is let go, NFL teams now have a reliable kicker on their radar.
