Orlando Guardians Make Three Cuts, Roster Set At 51 For 2023 XFL Season

The Orlando Guardians were tasked with trimming their roster down to 51 total players. Thursday afternoon they did just that, releasing three players and fitting the XFL’s regulations for the first week of the season coming next weekend.

The players that were released include;

WR Patrick Smith
S Antwan Collier
OL T.J. Bradley

Their receiver room now holds seven total options, their secondary filled by nine players, and their offensive line sports six players.

The Guardians are set to kick off against the Houston Roughnecks on February 18th, at 8:30 PM EST. Their rosters are set, the depth charts are being created, and we should have more news on who should be expected to start in the coming days.

But you can rest assured that the Guardians are fit to play and eager to compete in this edition of XFL football.
