No Settlement In Oliver Luck vs. Vince McMahon Lawsuit

The hope for closure in the Oliver Luck vs. Vince McMahon lawsuit has passed. Both sides were unable to reach a resolution and their case looks to be going to trial in July.

According to PWInsider, the two sides met for over five hours on Wednesday trying to settle the lawsuit. The two sides have been battling in court over the last two years. With much of the lawsuit sealed.

Luck sued McMahon after the XFL filed for bankruptcy after their season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Luck is alleges that Vince and Alpha Entertainment, owe him $23.8 million on his contract, plus damages and attorney fees.

McMahon would countersue Luck in January of 2021, alleging Luck abandoned his duties following the cancelation of the XFL season among other things.

The trial of Oliver Luck vs. Vince McMahon is set for July. We will keep you posted if there are any more scheduled settlement talks. But based on this week, we doubt it.
