The Heinicke Express continues to roll, as the Commanders improved to 4-1 with him under center. After a dynamic win in Week 10, the Commanders QB won again vs the beleaguered Texans during their week 11 bout. The best part about all these victories is Heinicke buys his team a new pair of Jordans each week in the color of the team he beats.

Though Heinicke wasn’t throwing bombs, and scoring touchdowns during week 11, he put together an efficient 15/27 performance for 191 Yards with no turnovers enroute to a 23-10 victory. Though not the most impressive numbers Heinicke continues to efficiently produce victories while under center and keeping the commanders in the playoff hunt.
With the success of Heinicke’s recent run, Coach Ron Rivera has named him the starter for Week 12, moving forward against the Falcons. Heinicke is now 11-9 as a starter for the Commanders in 2021 and 2022. One of the more successful quarterbacks for the franchise since Alex Smith who was 11-5 in his 16 starts over parts of two seasons.
