XFL News Hub’s own Mike Mitchell has dropped this bit of information on Twitter about former St. Louis BattleHawks QB Jordan Ta’amu. He will be one of the eight QB’s selected in tonight’s USFL draft.
“Per sources, Former #XFL standout, Quarterback Jordan Ta’amu has agreed to terms on a contract with the #USFL and will be one of the quarterbacks selected in tonight’s #USFLdraft“
Since playing in the XFL in 2020, Ta’amu, one of the first players to sign with an NFL team, has bounced around several NFL organizations. He played with the Kansas City Chiefs (Twice), Detroit Lions (Twice), Washington Commanders, and Carolina Panthers.
Ta’amu was a Tier 1 QB in the XFL. His backup with the BattleHawks was Talyor Heinicke, the starting QB of the Washington Commanders in 2021.
Will he be the only former XFL QB in the USFL? We will find out tonight at 7 pm ET for the 2022 USFL Draft.
You can follow the USFL Draft coverage live tonight at 6pm on The Markcast YouTube Channel, then at 7pm on the XFL News Hub YouTube channel.
