DC Defenders TE Khari Lee Signs Deal With Atlanta Falcons

According to Atlanta Falcons beat writer Vaughn McClure. Defenders Tight End Khari Lee signed a one year deal with the Falcons. He is the first DC Defender to sign an NFL contract.

Lee finished the shortened season with 8 receptions, 91 yards, and 2 touchdowns. The DC Defenders finished 3 – 2 and struggle at times on offense but Lee was a bright spot.

Lee was drafted in the 5th round Phase 1 of the 2020 XFL Draft. He played his college ball of Bowie State in Maryland with NFL stops including the Texans, Bears, Lions, and Bills.
