CFL’s Alouettes Cut Former Defenders WR Eli Rogers

Former DC Defenders WR Eli Rogers was recently released from the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes.

Rogers went undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft, but quickly signed with the Steelers, and spent 3 years with them.

He then joined the XFL’s DC Defenders. Through the 5 games the league had before having to end the season early due to COVID-19, Rogers had 19 receptions for 164 yards.

Eli played his college ball at Louisville.
