Battlehawks Retain Mike Rose as Linebacker Signs 2024 LOI

While USFL and XFL merger talks continue to heat up, the Battlehawks continued with their business-as-usual approach going into next season. Mike Rose the Battlehawks star Linebacker was announced to return for 2024 as the Iowa State Alum signed his LOI for 2024 after getting released by the Miami Dolphins.

Rose came to the Battlehawks during the XFL’s November draft in 2022. After a successful season with the team racking up 35 tackles in 8 games, Rose found himself earning a contact with the Miami Dolphins participating in Two preseason games totaling Six tackles. Rose would be released during final cuts making his way back to St. Louis on December 21st. Rose also had a stint with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022.

Rose now joins Linebacker Room with Travis Feeney, Willie Harvey, Carson Wells, Lakiem Williams along with newcomers Johnny Buchanan, Marcus Cushnie, Emeke Egbule, and Callahan O’Reilly. Going into the XFL’s “Dispersal Draft” the Battlehawks roster 58 players after seeing 15 players depart for NFL opportunities this season.
