7 Players Sign Letters Of Intent With XFL, Bringing Total to 117, Full Details

Here is the latest list of players to sign a letter of intent with the XFL.

DC Mohamed Sanogo LB Louisville

  • XFL 2023 Experience:
    • Mohamed Sanogo was selected in the XFL Rookie Draft conducted on June 16, 2023, by the D.C. Defenders​​.
  • NFL Experience:
    • Sanogo declared for the NFL Draft after transferring to Louisville for his senior year, though he was not projected as a draft pick.
  • College Football Experience:
    • Mohamed Sanogo, often referred to as MoMo Sanogo, initially played for Ole Miss before transferring to Louisville.
    • In his sophomore year at Ole Miss (2018), he led the Rebels in tackles with 112, marking the third-most in the SEC, before suffering a season-ending ankle injury in the second game of the season​.
    • Sanogo earned various accolades during his time at Ole Miss including being listed on the 2019 Butkus Award Watch List, being named to the 2019 Preseason All-SEC Third Team (Lindy’s), and the 2019 Preseason All-SEC Fourth Team (Athlon, Phil Steele)​​.
    • During his high school years, he earned second-team all-district honors at ILB as a senior, was a first-team all-district selection as a junior​.

HOU Roderick Perry II DL Illinois

  • NFL Experience:
    • Roderick Perry II went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft but was signed by the Cleveland Browns on May 1, 2022​.
  • College Football Experience:
    • Perry II played college football as a nose tackle at South Carolina State before transferring to Illinois​​.

HOU Jack Snyder OL San Jose St

  • XFL 2023 Experience:
    • Jack Snyder played for the Houston Roughnecks during the 2023 XFL season​​.
  • NFL Experience:
    • After going undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft, Jack Snyder was signed by the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent. He later joined the Minnesota Vikings from the XFL​​.
  • College Football Experience:
    • Jack Snyder attended San Jose State University where he showcased his prowess as an offensive lineman. Some notable achievements include:
      • SJSU record holder for most starts (52) and most games played (57).
      • ProFootballFocus.com Mountain West Player of the Year (2020).
      • First-Team All-Mountain West (2020) and Second-Team All-Mountain West (2021) among others​​.

ORL Shahman Moore DB West Florida

  • NFL Experience:
    • Shahman Moore signed an undrafted free agent contract with the San Francisco 49ers after the 2022 NFL Draft​​.
  • College Football Experience:
    • Shahman Moore’s college football journey started at El Camino Community College, after which he transferred to Washington State University (WSU) and then to the University of West Florida.
    • At WSU, he was a defensive back but did not appear in any games in 2019. He was later dismissed from the team for an unspecified violation of team rules​​.

ORL Yo’Heinz Tyler WR Ball St

  • College Football Experience:
    • Yo’Heinz Tyler played college football at Ball State.
    • Height: 6-3, Weight: 204, Hometown: New Orleans, LA, High School: Warren Easton HS​​.
    • In 2020, he had 42 catches for 607 yards and 8 touchdowns in just 8 games​.
    • He was recognized for his size and abilities as a wide receiver, which attracted NFL scouts’ attention​​.
  • NFL Experience:
    • Yo’Heinz Tyler was recognized as a 2021 NFL Draft prospect and attended the Ball State Cardinals’ Pro Day on March 27, where NFL scouts were present to evaluate his performance​​.

ORL McKinley Williams DL Syracuse

  • College Football Experience:
    • McKinley Williams played college football at Syracuse University.
    • In 2019, he also had a brief stint with the Arkansas Razorbacks, participating in three games​​.
  • NFL Experience:
    • McKinley Williams signed a deal as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts after his college career​​.

SEA Tayvian Cunningham WR Arizona

  • XFL Experience:
    • Tayvian Cunningham was selected by the Seattle Sea Dragons with the 59th pick in the offensive skill portion of the XFL Draft​​.
  • College Football Experience:
    • During his time at the University of Arizona, Tayvian Cunningham played in 10 games and made seven starts as a wide receiver in 2021.
    • He caught 18 passes for 299 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 16.6 yards per catch.
    • In a game against San Diego State, he caught five passes for 81 yards and a touchdown​​.
