Top 2024 NFL Free Agents That Can End Up Anywhere

Description: The top players have already signed, meaning that the NFL free agency has passed its third wave. Following the conclusion of the draft, the following group of free agents have not chosen a home for 2024.

Top Available Free Agents

Even though most of these players won’t sign until training camp, some excellent players are still available as the summer approaches. This information will be vital when placing bets on the GGBet site. These are the best unsigned free agents for each position.

Quarterback

Ryan Tannehill

Given his resume, Tannehill, the finest free-agent quarterback still available, is probably waiting for a chance to compete for a starting position. Tannehill has thrown for 34,881 yards and 216 touchdowns with a 91.2 rating in his 12-year career, with 151 career starts (81-70 record).

The 35-year-old Tannehill will probably have to wait until after the draft to sign a contract since a quarterback room benefits from having a veteran starter or backup.

Brian Hoyer

With the Las Vegas Raiders last season, Hoyer, a 38-year-old quarterback with 41 career starts, made a start. After 15 seasons, it’s unclear if Hoyer still wants to play. Hoyer will probably wind up as quarterback depth elsewhere if he wants to play on.

Running Back

Kareem Hunt

With nine touchdowns in 15 games as Cleveland’s No. 2 running back last season, Hunt was a formidable presence in the red zone. Despite only averaging 3.0 yards per carry while rushing for 411 yards, he is still valuable in a room full of running backs that need versatility (he has 226 career receptions at an average of 8.4 yards per catch) and a boost in short-yardage situations.

Cam Akers

Akers, a restricted free agent the Vikings did not tender, recuperates from his second Achilles injury. Before getting hurt in Week 9, he completed 60 carries for 167 yards and two touchdowns (2.8 yards per rush). A team might take a chance on Akers, who is only 24 years old, as a depth running back. It’s only been two years since he scored seven touchdowns and 786 yards.

Wide Receiver

Hunter Renfrow

Renfrow remains available for a team needing a slot receiver or WR3 as the summer approaches. Three years after posting a 1,000-yard season, Renfrow had a career-low 25 catches for 255 yards and no touchdowns in the previous campaign.

Michael Thomas

The 31-year-old Thomas, who finished with 39 catches for 445 yards and a touchdown in 13 games (10 starts) last season, has been restricted by injuries since 2019. Thomas has changed drastically after setting the NFL record most receptions in 2019 with 149. Thomas is still a valuable player for clubs that need a veteran in the slot.

Tight End

Graham

Despite being a free agent in theory, Graham is considering retirement because the Saints want to keep him. Last season, Graham had four touchdowns and six receptions for 39 yards.

Geoff Swaim

Swaim had 10 catches for 94 yards with the Cardinals in the previous season, so it was slim pickings for the tight ends. For clubs needing a TE3, Swaim would be signed as a tight-end depth player.

Tyler Kroft

Despite appearing in eight games for the Miami Dolphins in 2023, the seasoned tight end is still available. Neither was Kroft targeted nor did he record a catch. He has started 52 of 100 games throughout nine seasons and served as a reliable backup.

Tackle

David Bakhtiari

When healthy, Bakhtiari is among the finest tackles in the league, but he has missed 38 games in the last three seasons. Before injuries finally caught up to him, Bakhtiari was a First Team All-Pro in 2020 and had made five straight All-Pro teams. In 11 games in 2022, he gave up just one sack and ten pressures.

Donovan Smith

In 476 pass-blocking snaps during the previous season, Smith, a seasoned starter in the NFL, gave up two sacks and 36 pressures (7.6% pressure rate). Smith, 30, has started at left tackle in the league in the 136 games he has participated in.

Guard

Mark Glowinski

During his tenure with the Giants, Glowinski only started six games, giving up seven sacks and eighteen pressures on 283 pass-blocking attempts (6.0% pressure rate allowed per dropback). Glowinski might wait until training camp begins to sign despite having starting experience. Glowinski is one of the best veteran players available, especially for teams that could need more guard depth.

Halapoulivaati Vaitai

Vaitai, a swing tackle with guard versatility, gave up three pressures and one sack on 116 pass-blocking snaps during the previous campaign. The Lions released Vaitai due to a back issue. Vaitia is available for teams needing a swing tackle with guard ability and experience starting for a Super Bowl title squad.

Center

Connor Williams

Williams, another interior lineman with guard and center versatility, is possibly the finest center available in free agency. Before sustaining a season-ending knee injury in December, the 26-year-old Williams only gave up one sack and six pressures in nine games during the previous campaign, with a 2.9% pressure rate.

Connor McGovern

During the previous season, McGovern gave up 17 pressures and one sack in 227 pass-blocking snaps. Due to a knee injury that ended his 2023 season, McGovern, 31, has started his past 61 games at center. Given the abundance of starting centers available in free agency, McGovern’s final destination will be interesting to watch.

Mason Cole

A year after Cole, then 28 years old, gave up two sacks and 28 hurries in 569 pass-blocking snaps, the Steelers cut him in March. Cole is still a starting center in the league, having started 73 of his 94 career appearances. Regretfully, free agency still has a few starting centers available.
