What Time Does Super Bowl LVII Start Around The World, When Does 2023 XFL Season Start

This Sunday, February 12th, Super Bowl LVII kicks off when the AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs take on the NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time Sunday, February 12th. 

Football is exploding in popularity worldwide, and the game’s audience has become international. In 2023, watching the Super Bowl live at home or with friends at a bar or restaurant will be a different experience. For those tuning in for the first time, Super Bowl LVII is an American football game played to determine who will be the National Football League (NFL) champion for the 2023 season. 

What Is The XFL

The XFL is another football season starting a week after the Super Bowl on February 18th. The season will run for three months, with ten weeks of action. It ends in May with a semifinal showdown followed by the XFL championship game. If you like American football, there is more to watch after the Super Bowl.

XFL Opening Games on National TV

All opening weekend XFL games will be available to American audiences via streaming on ESPN+. XFL games will be broadcast on either ABC, ESPN, or FX. International fans will have to check their local listings to see if games with be on in their area.

Watching the Super Bowl Around The World

Generally, there are many reasons why people love watching Super Bowl LVII as part of the NFL. For instance, they will introduce many new stars during the game. Football fans in London, England, will gather at several places, including Boxpark, Omeara, the Hard Rock Cafe, and Leyton Star, to name just a few. Even the far reaches of Mongolia have Super Bowl fans, with the Bojangles Bar in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, a favorite locale to watch the game.

Other places worldwide include the Lady Hamilton Pub in Zurich, Switzerland, and the Hard Rock Cafe in Prague, Czech Republic. The Laurel Tokyo sports bar in Tokyo, Japan, O’Leary’s Irish Pub or the Retro Sportbar in Stockholm, Sweden, and Pub Wilson in Seinäjoki, Finland.

Whether sitting in living rooms, watching on an office computer, or even lying in bed watching on a laptop or tablet, millions of people worldwide will be watching the game. Some will interrupt their Monday morning workdays to watch the game or stay up until the wee hours of the morning.

Folks in North America, Hawaiior American Samoa can watch the game at a decent hour. The game starts as usual at 6:30 p.m. EST which is 5:30 CST, 4:30 MST, 3:30 PST, 2:30 p.m. in Alaska, or 1:30 p.m. in Hawaii. After that, it gets interesting. In Auckland, New Zealand, the game is at 12:30 p.m.
