PR: Water Line Disruption Leads To Rescheduling Of AFA Season Opener

A water line disruption at the Wichita Ice Center, home of the Wichita Force, has led the Force to reschedule their first two games of the 2022 season as a precaution.

The Force were set to open their Arena Football Association season on Saturday night against the Magnolia State Spartans and that game has now been re-scheduled for Saturday, May 14. The Force’s second game, previously scheduled for Saturday, April 16 vs. Rio Grande Valley, has also been re-scheduled to allow time for the repairs to take place.

“We’re obviously very disappointed for our fans but unfortunately this was a circumstance that was beyond everyone’s control,” said Jeff Martin, Managing Partner for the Force. “Our partners at the Ice Center are doing everything they can to expedite the repairs so that we can get back out on the field for our fans.”
