fuboTV’s Fubo Sports Network to Air Exclusive Live “TOV” Experience Capturing Terrell Owens’ Point of View on the Field

Season v2.0 Kicks-Off on April 16 at FCF’s New High-Tech Studio at Atlanta’s Pullman Yards; Gameday Fan Experience Passes Available

ATLANTA, GA (April 6, 2022) Fan Controlled Football (FCF), the only professional sports league that empowers fans to make key decisions for their favorite team, including calling plays in real-time, today announced Hall of Famer Terrell Owens is joining Fan Controlled Football for Season v2.0, which starts on April 16.

Owens, who played for five NFL teams including the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, and Philadelphia Eagles, is expected to be a wide receiver with the Zappers alongside quarterback Johnny Manziel, who recently announced his return to FCF for a second season.

In addition to playing, Owens and Fubo Sports Network, the live, free-to-consumer TV network from sports-first live TV streaming platform fuboTV Inc. (NYSE: FUBO),  will be shooting “The TOV,” a unique live television experience featuring Owens mic’d up so fans can hear his live on-field takes throughout each game. When he’s not on the field, the alternate gameday broadcast will include Owens’ behind-the-scenes access and sideline interviews with celebrity guests, FCF owners and players. Owens is already a Fubo Sports Network personality as a host on the network’s original show, “Getcha Popcorn Ready With T.O. & Hatch.”

“Fan Controlled Football is a prime example of the exclusive live sports our audiences look for,” said Pamela Duckworth, head of Fubo Sports Network and original programming. “Thanks to Ben Grad and fuboTV’s content strategy and acquisition team for leading this partnership and continuing to bring engaging live sports to Fubo Sports Network. We can’t wait to welcome Terrell Owens back on the field.”

“The TOV” is part of an agreement between FCF and Fubo Sports Network to produce an innovative simul-cast that merges live football action and commentary like never before. The companion show will be available exclusively on fuboTV’s linear network, Fubo Sports Network across the U.S. and Canada.

“I can’t wait to play football at a high level again,” said Owens. “I’m happy to be part of a league that is redefining the game and bringing a level of fan interaction to sports that has never been done before. I’m pumped to have fans dial up the plays for me and will see you all on April 16!”

During his 15-year career, Owens was a six-time Pro Bowl selection and a five-time first-team All-Pro.  He holds numerous NFL records for receiving and is the only player in NFL history to score two or more touchdowns against every NFL team.

“Fans are going to have the opportunity to call plays for a Hall of Fame wide receiver and watch the games from his point of view on Fubo Sports Network. This is truly groundbreaking, and we couldn’t be more excited to have one of the best players in NFL history join the FCF,” said Sohrob Farudi, Co-Founder and CEO of Fan Controlled Football.  “While FCF is a fun and interactive experience for our fans, it is also pro football played at an elite level.  I have no doubt T.O. is going to amaze everyone once he steps on that field. LFG!”
