On Saturday, the XFL released the following teaser video about their official XFL footballs.

We reported back in June the XFL was testing new game balls with different grips and looks. You can see from this Instagram post, and based on the video package, it looks like the balls will have the white X across the front.
Unfortunately, but understandably, the black balls will not return. The XFL 2.0 has been differentiating itself from its first iteration. It is not surprising they chose not to go with the iconic black balls this go around.
