XFL players are free to sign with NFL or CFL teams starting on March 23rd. This is according to several XFL players who received official word from the league.
For XFL players to be released from their contract, they need to sign a Notice of Contract Termination. Once that has been executed, they are free to test the NFL or CFL free-agent waters.
Recently the NFL has been trying to hammer out the logistics of free agent XFL players. It looks like they have all the legal proceedings in place.
Look for players like Houston Roughnecks P.J. Walker, Cam Phillips, and Dallas Renegades Donald Parham to sign free-agent contracts with NFL teams soon.
Stay tuned with XFL News Hub for all the XFL to NFL player transactions in the coming weeks.

Have been watching CFL & NFL for years. Took in a few XFL games on TV and enjoyed watching the significant overall improvements in play during the fifth week. Just bad luck the inaugural season had to be cut short there, so I’m looking forward to them playing again next year. North America does have enough fans to support three pro leagues and the XFL looked to be just warming up.
