XFL St Louis Coach Hayes Son Jaxson Gets Drafted In NBA

With the XFL Summer Showcase in full swing, coaches are organizing their staffs and evaluating players. XFL St Louis Head Coach/GM Jonathan Hayes paused his busy XFL schedule to be with his family. His son Jaxson Hayes was part of last nights NBA draft from Brooklyn New York.

Jaxson Hayes was the 8th overall pick of the 2019 NBA draft by the Atlanta Hawks. His draft rights were traded to New Orleans Pelicans along with the 17th pick Nickeil Alexander-Walker and the 35th pick Marcos Louzada Silva for the draft rights to 4th overall pick De’Andre Hunter. Lots a wheeling and dealing at last night NBA draft.

Now Jaxson will play alongside the 1st overall pick Zion Williamson of Duke. Hayes played one season at the University of Texas.

It looks like XFL fans have an NBA player and team to root for now.
