XFL Co-Owner Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Kicks Off 2022 NFL Season Thursday Night

XFL Co-Owner Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was back at SoFi Stadium, just like he did before Super Bowl LVI in February. He was featured in the pregame kick off crowd pep talk before last nights LA Rams- Buffalo Bills NFL season opener on NBC. This time the speech was a bit shorter but included his iconic WWE theme song, firing up the home town LA crowd.

It seems like it pumped up the Bills offense more than the Rams defense as Buffalo marched right down the field and scored the first touchdown of the NFL season on a pass from Josh Allen to Gabriel Davis.

The next time The Rock hits the football field, unless the NFL asks him to pump up the crowd at the next Super Bowl. Which is February 12th, 2023 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

His next football field appearance could be at the kick-off of the XFL season on February 18th, 2023. We are hearing the XFL plans on making some more announcements in September, possibly next week. Still no word on XFL Team Names and Logos.
