XFL 2024 LOE Signings: Key Defensive and Offensive Players Join Teams – Full Roster Update

Cameron Brown, DB, Ohio State – Arlington Renegades

Cameron Brown, hailing from Ohio State, has signed with the Arlington Renegades, enhancing their secondary depth. During his five-year tenure at Ohio State, Brown made significant contributions, particularly in his final two seasons. He accumulated 39 tackles and an interception, starting in 13 of the last 18 games. Post-Ohio State, Brown joined the Los Angeles Chargers for their NFL training camp before moving to the Renegades to advance his professional career​​.

Jared Mayden, DB, Alabama – Arlington Renegades

Jared Mayden, a former Alabama standout, also joins the Arlington Renegades. Mayden’s impressive senior season at Alabama included 59 tackles and four interceptions, starting in 11 of 12 games. This performance led to interest from multiple NFL teams. Mayden briefly played with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021, recording six tackles in four games. He also spent time with the San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills before becoming a free agent​​.

Greg Long, OL, Purdue – DC Defenders

Greg Long, from Purdue, has signed with the DC Defenders. Long, versatile in his position, has experience at both tackle and guard. Known for his physicality, especially in the run game, Long was recognized as an Honorable Mention All-Big Ten in 2020. While at Purdue, he started all six games, contributing to an offense that averaged 309.0 yards passing and 390.5 yards of total offense per game. Before Purdue, Long played at UTEP, where he was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman team in 2016​​​​​​​​​​​​.

Badara Traore, OL, LSU – DC Defenders

Badara Traore, a massive presence at 6’7” and 327 lbs, joins the DC Defenders bringing a significant NFL experience. Out of LSU, Traore was undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft but signed by the Chicago Bears. He spent the 2020 season on Chicago’s practice squad, and later, he was with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Arizona Cardinals. Traore, who played in 26 games with five starts at LSU, has shown versatility in playing both tackle positions. During his senior season at LSU, he played in 13 games with three starts and was part of the special teams unit. Traore’s journey includes overcoming challenges and making significant improvements throughout his career​​​​​​.

Quincy Wilson, DB, Florida – Houston Roughnecks

Quincy Wilson, with extensive NFL experience, has signed with the Houston Roughnecks. Wilson, an Indianapolis Colts draftee, played three seasons there, recording 61 tackles and two interceptions. His NFL journey included stints with the New York Jets and the New York Giants, but consistent roster placement remained elusive. Wilson’s signing with the Roughnecks presents an opportunity for him to return to the field and showcase his abilities. At Florida, Wilson’s performance was notable, and his professional experience could be a valuable asset for Houston​​.

Marquez Bembry, LB, Connecticut – Orlando Guardians

Marquez Bembry started his collegiate career at Jones County Junior College, posting 36 tackles and a sack. He then moved to the University of Kentucky, where he tallied 37 tackles across three seasons. Bembry concluded his collegiate journey at Connecticut, starting in two of ten games during the 2022 season and recording 11 tackles and 0.5 sacks. Now signed with the Orlando Guardians, Bembry is set to embark on his professional career​​.

Vincent DiLeo, LB, Delaware Valley – Orlando Guardians

Vincent DiLeo, a recent addition to the Orlando Guardians, made his mark at Delaware Valley. Over four seasons, he amassed 144 tackles and 16 sacks. In 2019, DiLeo was recognized as a First Team All-Star, team captain, and recipient of the Frank Wolfgang Scholar-Athlete Award. He led the team with 12 tackles for loss and added five sacks, nine quarterback hits, and six pass breakups. DiLeo’s performance garnered interest from the CFL’s Edmonton team, with whom he signed last winter. His standout abilities were further highlighted at the XFL combine, leading to his signing with Orlando for the 2024 season​​​​​​​​.
