On Monday, it was announced that Seattle Sea Dragons offensive tackle Barry Wesley has inked a deal with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons after an impressive showing at the team’s rookie minicamp.
Wesley helped pave the way for Seattle’s offense to lead the XFL in passing yards (2,630) and was part of a unit that allowed only 11 sacks on the year (2nd fewest in the XFL).
After helping the Sea Dragons to a 7-3 record and a playoff appearance, Wesley now gets an NFL opportunity to protect Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder.
