Seattle Sea Dragons Sign OG Josh Seltzner, Release Ryan Pope

On Tuesday, the Seattle Sea Dragons signed former Wisconsin Badgers offensive guard Josh Seltzner to their active roster. To make room for the new addition, the team released offensive tackle Ryan Pope.

College: Wisconsin (2017 – 2021)

College Accolades: AP First-Team All-American (2021), All-Big Ten First-Team (coaches, 2021), All-Big Ten Second-Team (media, 2021)

Pro Experience: Indianapolis Colts (2022)

After a redshirt season in 2017, Josh Seltzner played 4 seasons at the University of Wisconsin. In that time, he appeared in 44 games (18 starts at guard) and helped pave the way for the second-best rushing offense in the Big Ten during his senior year in 2021.

Following the 2022 NFL Draft, Seltzner signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent. He appeared in all three preseason games but was waived at the team’s final roster cuts.

Most recently, Seltzner was drafted by the Seattle Sea Dragons in the open phase of their 2022 Draft but didn’t report to camp.
