On Thursday, Seattle Sea Dragons offensive lineman Michal Menet officially signed with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons. This brings the total number of XFL players who’ve signed an NFL contract to 43 since the season ended on May 15th.
Despite playing the majority of his collegiate and professional career at the center position, Michal Menet’s time with the Sea Dragons was spent primarily at offensive guard. He was part of an offensive unit that allowed the second-fewest sacks (11) during the XFL’s 2023 season, and helped pave the way for a rushing attack that averaged 4.6 yards per carry.
If Menet returns to the XFL, the Seattle Sea Dragons will retain his rights.
