The Seattle Dragons bolstered their offense on Monday, adding CFL legend, WR SJ Green. Green, 34, is a CFL legend with a total of 716 receptions, 10,222 yards and 60 touchdowns in his 12-year career. During his time in the CFL, Green won the Grey Cup (CFL Championship) 3 times (2009, 2010, 2017) and was an 8-time All-Star.
Green was let go by the Toronto Argonauts after requesting his release last Friday and made short work of joining the upstart league after a successful first week. Green is a Florida native who played his collegiate year at the University of South Florida.
He spent a brief period of time with the New York Jets and spent his CFL career with only the Montreal Alouettes (2007-2016) and the Argonauts (2017-2020).
Green will join a Seattle Dragons team coming off of a loss against the DC Defenders in the first game of the season. The offense appeared to be a bit lackluster outside of a few nice drives produced by Brandon Silvers and the surprise performance by Austin Proehl.
Outside of Proehl and former Heisman candidate Keenan Reynolds, the Dragons certainly could use the assistance of Green who is 12th all-time in CFL receptions and brings a veteran voice to the locker room.

SJ is talented, 34, and coming off of his three top seasons. The Argos did him this favor because they are still trying to rebuild.
How much of a factor Green becomes will help us measure where the level of play in the X is compared to the CFL.
