Saints Cameron Jordan Sideline Reporter For XFL Game On FOX

According to a report by Rod Walker of nola.com, current New Orleans Saint defensive end Cameron Jordan will serve as a guest reporter for Saturdays XFL game on FOX.

Jordan will be part of the New York Guardians vs. Dallas Renegades coverage team on FOX. Curt Menefee and Joel Klatt will handle the play-by-play and color commentary. That game starts at 5 pm Eastern. Jordan will serve as a sideline reporter interviewing players during the game.

He is the first current NFL player to do so as a sideline reporter. But not the first NFL player to work an XFL Broadcast. Current Seattle Seahawks tight end Greg Olsen has worked XFL game in the broadcast booth this season.

The veteran defensive end is entering his 10th season with the Saints and is a five-time Pro Bowl selection. This is not Jordan’s first time in an analyst role on TV. He has appeared on the NFL Network’s broadcast of the NFL combine and on “Good Morning Football.”
