Report: XFL Team Personnel Directors To Be Announced Next Week

Unlike the big XFL June 1st announcement that Randy Karraker, co-host of Karraker & Smallmon on 101ESPN in St. Louis, talked about, which didn’t happen. This tidbit of information might have some more truth to it.

In his latest newsletter, Neil Stratton of ITL has written that XFL Team Personnel Directors will be announced next week.

Our partners at the XFL tell us the league will announce the personnel directors for all eight franchises next week. Some are back from the league’s last run, and some are familiar faces that are new to the XFL. “

Stratton should know. His company ITL partnered with the XFL back in May. Doug Whaley, Senior Vice President, Player Personnel, talked about ITL.

“Neil and ITL have been a key fixture in the football ecosystem, disseminating important information from player evaluations, supporting agent prep, facilitating scouting forums, and connecting players with football professionals to help further their careers. We are excited to be partnering with such a respected and trusted source in the industry.”

With Stratton’s connection to the XFL and the Player Showcases starting on June 17th, it makes sense that player agents would want to know who they are dealing with for each team.

Does this mean we get other XFL announcements like team names and cities? We are still holding to our August timeframe for that. We are about to hit the dog days of summer. People will start paying attention to football once the NFL starts to crank up and schools are back in session. Great time for kids to buy new merch before heading to school.
