Report: BattleHawks OC Doug Meacham Could Be Leaving

With training camp just days away and the XFL season to kick off in only 37 days. A report from Football Scoop is saying St Louis BattleHawks Offensive Coordinator Doug Meacham is leaving the team.

The report says Meacham is leaving for a job with TCU, where he was the Frogs co-offensive coordinator and inside wide receivers coach from 2014 to 2016. The position opened with the departure of Frogs co-offensive coordinator and running backs coach Curtis Luper’s to Missouri.

The offense at TCU under Meacham finished No. 2 nationally in scoring in 2014 and No. 7 in 2015. Head Coach of the St Louis BattleHawks Jonathan Hayes has days to fill the role before training camp begins January 5th in Houston.

All eight XFL will be training and scrimmaging in Houston before the official league kickoffs on February 8th.
