Source: Kevin Burkhardt And Greg Olsen To Call FOX XFL Games

According to Art Stapleton, a NY Giants/NFL beat writer. The play by play team of Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen is coming to the XFL.

“Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen will be in FOX broadcast booth together as a team for handful of XFL games, per source. “

He goes on to say;

“First game for Burkhardt and Olsen together will be about as close to home as it can get: Feb. 9 at MetLife Stadium featuring the New York Guardians of Kevin Gilbride against the Tampa Bay Vipers. “

We reported back in October that Fox was interested in Olsen after a good showing filling in for an NFL game on his by week with the Carolina Panthers. With the recent retirement of teammate Luke Kuechly at age 28. Olsen age 34, could be looking towards his retirement as well.

The Carolina Panthers just hired their new head coach Matt Rhule after firing long-time head coach Ron Rivera.
