NFL-great Johnny Manziel, still grasping at straws for attention on Twitter had this to say last night in a Tweet directed at XFL Commissioner Oliver Luck.
Last week, a 27-year-old quarterback who still goes by Johnny had some harsh criticisms for a league that has never played into the nonsense of allowing him in.
“ComebackSZN still alive if ya’ll ain’t know. Just not playing for another league that’s going to fold on you midway through the season.”

Johnny Manziel, who last played in the Alliance of American Football has been on what he calls his “ComebackSZN” since 2016. He’s made stops all across North America. Manziel played 16 games in the Canadian Football League split between Hamilton and Montreal in 2018.
He’s been grasping at relevance ever since his two-game AAF career ended with a historic stat line of eight pass attempts, five completions, and an interception. A magnificent “SZN” for someone on his comeback tour.
Manziel, who would be the first person to tell you he won the Heisman Trophy in 2012, was back on his phone last night tweeting a message for Oliver Luck, the XFL’s Commissioner.
Of course, by talking about the disgraced athlete, we’re giving him all he wants. The XFL could always create a team of hasty disgraced athletes that will talk about a league that’s spurned them time and time-again. That would be a two-man roster of WR Antonio Brown and QB Johnny Manziel. But the chances of that are 0.00%, and that’s being generous.
