PR: Globe Life Park in Arlington Reconfiguration Press Conference

MEDIA EVENT TO ANNOUNCE DETAILS OF GLOBE LIFE PARK IN ARLINGTON RECONFIGURATION TODAY AT 2:30 PM

Facility to become home of XFL’s Dallas Renegades and USL League One’s North Texas Soccer Club in 2020

Arlington, TX – A media event to announce the details of Globe Life Park in Arlington’s reconfiguration from a baseball to a multi-purpose facility will take place, Thursday, October 17 at 2:30 p.m.

The facility, which was the home of the Texas Rangers for 26 seasons from 1994-2019, welcomes two new tenants in 2020, the Dallas Renegades of the new XFL spring league and the North Texas Soccer Club of the USL League One which is affiliated with FC Dallas of Major League Soccer.

Participants in Thursday’s media event will include:

Texas Rangers: Executive Vice President of Business Operations Rob Matwick and Senior Vice President of Operations and Events Sean Decker

Dallas Renegades: President Grady Raskin, Head Coach & General Manager Bob Stoops, and player selections from this week’s XFL Draft (pending availability) 

FC Dallas/North Texas Soccer Club: FC Dallas President Dan Hunt, USL League One President Steven Short, NTSC Head Coach Eric Quill, NTSC General Manager Matt Denny, and NTSC players captain and defender Brecc Evans, midfielder Arturo Rodriguez, and midfielder Oscar Romero

Renderings of Globe Life Park’s new configurations for both football and soccer will be released on Thursday at the event.

The media event will take place on top of the first-base dugout at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Media should park in the J Lot across from Texas Live! and enter Globe Life Park through the first base gate. Due to field construction, access to the first base dugout will be via the main concourse only.
