Former Mississippi Valley State offensive lineman has joined the XFL’s Team Nine in an official announcement from Brown’s Instagram.
Brown was apart of the new group of players brought in by the league for private league workouts on Feb. 24, while the new roster is not entirely known quite yet, certain players are beginning to make it public via their personal social media accounts.
“I know I bring versatility every time I step on the field, simply because I can play all five positions very evidently. I also bring the mind of a champion, which means I’m always looking to get better and better every second, both on and off the field and always pushing others around me.”

XFL News Hub’s Konnor Fulk received word of turnover within Team Nine from a league source in a tweet yesterday afternoon:
Just in: I’m told XFL Team 9 staff made “a lot” of cuts today off the roster, in preparation of adding a new pool of players to the team. On Monday, there were over 30 players in attendance for a Team 9 tryout. Two players we know were there: @Tommy_Gun4 and @JordanWesty1
The 27-year-old lineman played with the Salt Lake Stallions of the Alliance of American Football last spring, and most recently with the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League.
“If any team decides to take a chance on me they’re going to get a hard-nosed, versatile and hardworking linemen.”

Brown has already joined Team Nine and began practicing.
