11 More XFL Standouts Receive NFL Training Camp Invites, Total Reaches 66

In a remarkable testament to the talent cultivated in the XFL, another 11 players have received invites to NFL training camps this week. This brings the total count of XFL players invited to NFL camps to 66, adding to the 2 invites from the week prior. The impressive number underscores the XFL’s role as a hotbed for nurturing football talent. Even more invites are expected in the following weeks.

Among the standouts receiving invites are Houston Roughnecks’ running back Max Borghi and DC Defenders’ wide receiver Chris Blair. Borghi ranked fifth in rushing in the XFL, racking up 310 yards on 78 attempts and scoring 6 touchdowns. He also proved to be a versatile threat in the passing game, accumulating 139 yards on 21 receptions. The Cleveland Browns are undoubtedly interested in his potential to contribute to their ground attack.

Chris Blair showcased his wide receiver skills for the DC Defenders, totaling 584 yards on 25 receptions from 46 targets and scoring three touchdowns. His explosive playmaking ability has earned him an invite from the Tennessee Titans.

Joining them is tight end Sal Cannella from the XFL Champion Arlington Renegades, who is also invited to the Browns’ training camp. He ranked 12th in receiving with 415 yards on 42 catches from 63 targets.

Brandon Dillon from the Vegas Vipers, another tight end who showed promise with 87 yards on 8 receptions, received an invite from the Washington Commanders. His fellow Vipers’ team member, Jah’Sheem Martin, a formidable defensive lineman, is heading to the Houston Texans’ camp.

Darren Evans, a dynamic defensive back from the Arlington Renegades, will join the Seattle Seahawks for their camp. Silas Kelly, a linebacker from the St. Louis Battlehawks, will travel to Green Bay to join the Packers.

Another notable invitee is long snapper Antonio Ortiz from the Arlington Renegades, who is heading to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ camp.

Rounding out the list are Vegas Vipers’ tight end Cam Sutton, who received an invite from the New England Patriots, Jahcour Pearson, a wide receiver from the Seattle Dragons who will remain in Seattle for the Seahawks’ camp, and Briley Moore-McKinney, a tight end from the DC Defenders, who joins Blair in heading to the Titans’ camp.
