Today on ‘Speak For Yourself’ they held the USFL draft lottery to determine the order for this years 2022 USFL draft. The picks were made live on FS1 using a ping pong ball machine.
The Michigan Panthers, coached by Jeff Fisher got the first pick in the draft.
Here is the draft order for the first round.

- Philadelphia Stars
- New Jersey Generals
- Houston Gamblers
- Birmingham Stallions
- Pittsburgh Maulers
- New Orleans Breakers
We will get more specifics for Tuesdays draft tomorrow as we reported yesterday. Back in 1983, the first pick in the USFL draft for the Los Angeles Express was Dan Marino.
This news comes on the heals of todays reveal of all eight team uniforms and new merchandise at the USFL store. The time of day of the draft we hear is later in the day, not in the morning or afternoon. The draft will take place in Birmingham.
