XFL Draft Prospects

Alpha Entertainment owns the XFL. It is an American football league whose structure resembles that of the original XFL. The league comprises eight teams with different owners. The National Football League (NFL) represents some XFL teams while others are spread in the United States market. The following are seven XFL draft prospects you need to look out for.

1.      Jay Bromley-DL, DC Defenders

Jay appeared in the New York Giants’ draft in 2014. He is a defensive lineman who played for Big Blue for four seasons before joining the New Orleans Saints. But, he tore his biceps after playing two games for New Orleans. The 27-year-old player played for San Francisco 49ers in August 2019. He will play for DC Defenders this year.

2.      Kony Ealy-DE Houston Roughnecks

Talented American football players can join the NFL. The league requires more quarterbacks. Kony Ealy was Missouri’s second-round selection in 2014. The Carolina Panthers signed him for a few months. Kony has played for other teams since then and the Houston Roughnecks signed him recently.

3.      Landry Jones-QB, Dallas Renegades

Landry will be a top player in the XFL in the future. In 2013, he almost took over for the Pittsburgh Steeler’s starter. But the team sidelined and replaced him with Mason Rudolph in September 2018. Landry later moved to the Dallas Renegades. American football fans who wager on Jones will free bet bonuses if he will succeed in the XFL.

4.      Antonio Callaway-WR, Tampa Bay Vipers

The Cleveland Browns picked Antonio in the fourth-round selection in 2018. He later left the team due to a marijuana citation, a credit-card scam and a sexual assault allegation. Callaway is on a ten-game NFL suspension due to substance abuse. Also, he is nursing a leg injury that he sustained while playing for Tampa Bay Vipers.

5.      Will Sutton-DL, Seattle Dragons

Will joined the National Football League in 2014 as a draft selection for the Chicago Bears. He played 36 games for the team before he sustained an ankle injury in 2016 and left the club. The 28-year-old player missed out on the rosters of the San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings. A top NFL team might approach him if he leaves the Seattle Dragons.

6.      Christine Michael-Rb, St. Louis BattleHawks

Many NFL supporters anticipated Christine’s breakout from the league. He had an average of 4.3-yard per carry and seven touchdowns for the Seattle Seahawks. He was a second-round pick for the team in 2013. The 29-year-old player has 256 carries in the NFL.

7.      Cardale Jones-QB, DC Defenders

The Buffalo Bills chose Cardale in the fourth-round pick in 2016 but he failed to replace Tyrod Taylor and EJ Manuel. The 27-year-old quarterback later joined the Los Angeles Chargers DC Defenders. Cardale will work with Pep Hamilton in his new team.

North America has many professional football leagues. They include XFL and the National Football League (NFL). Each league needs to attract talented players to broaden its audience. XFL attracted several players from the NFL. Jay Bromley, Landry Jones, Kony Ealy, and Antonio Callaway are among the top XFL draft prospects this year.
