Fan Controlled Sports Announces Changes To 2023 Schedule, FCF Moves To Fall of 2023

Fan Controlled Sports released the following statement to fans today. The League plans on focusing its attention and resources to Fan Controlled Hoops in the Summer of 2023. Then Fan Controlled Football will return in the Fall of 2023.

We’re calling an audible with the schedule. While we had grand plans to run Season 3 of Fan Controlled Football in just a few months and then launch Fan Controlled Hoops Season 1 soon after, we have decided to switch the two and FCH Season 1 will come first.

This offseason we’ve been grinding through training so we can come back bigger and better than ever, with a new app, new site, new venue, new teams, more celebrity team owners, more players, more coaches, more things for the fans to control in FCF 3.0, and the tip off of a new sport in FCH.

The fans deserve something really awesome and we’re not going to launch something that doesn’t play to that Championship standard. As we keep moving the ball down the field through our rugged offseason conditioning – be sure to follow us on social and stay tuned for more updates on upcoming tryouts, how you’ll be able to experience FCF 3.0 + FCH 1.0 live and how to get the first look at the Fan Controlled Sports App coming soon to ios and Android in the near future.

Tune in to the Fan Controlled Show on Twitch TODAY at 2:30p PT / 5:30p ET for a Fan Q&A.

As always, thank you for building this with us.  For being part of this journey.  These leagues are built by fans, for fans and we can’t wait for you to experience Fan Controlled Hoops and see what else we’ve got cooking.

Lastly,  if you have any ideas on ways we can make the best fan experience possible, hit us up at Fans@fancontrolledsports.io. You know we want to hear from you.

The move by FCF makes sense in the changing Spring football landscape. When Fan Controlled Football launched, there was no USFL or XFL to complete with players and eye balls. The league will have to go up against the NFL and College Football in the Fall. It will be interesting to see where and when they decide to schedule their FCF games.

In the mean time, fans of the FCF style of sports have something to look forward to with the launch of the new Fan Controlled Hoops coming this Summer. Dates for the FCH season are coming soon.
