Former Houston Oilers Cris Dishman Named To XFL New York Staff

As the XFL world turns, it’s attention to New York and Washington DC this weekend. XFL New York made some more coaching announcements just in time for the June 14th XFL Summer Showcase event taking place in New York.

Head Coach/GM Kevin Gilbride announced the following additions to his New York coaching staff. Running Backs Coach Jerald Ingram, Defensive Line Coach Charles Ah You, Defensive Backs Coach Cris Dishman, and Quarterbacks Coach G.A. Mangus.

Jerald Ingram, we already covered in a previous article. He was the Running Backs Coach from 2004 to 2013 with the New York Giants.

Charles Ah You is a former defensive lineman picked in the seventh round by the Buffalo Bills in the 2007 NFL Draft. He was a Defensive Line Coach at Vanderbilt University(NCAA) from 2016 to 2018.

Cris Dishman played cornerback in the NFL for thirteen-years from 1988 to 2000, most notably with the Houston Oilers from 1988 to 1996. He was the Defensive Backs Coach at McNeese State in 2019. Prior to that, he was a Safeties coach with the Baylor Bears from 2015 to 2016.

G.A. Mangus was an assistant coach at Kutztown University in 2018. He is a former quarterback at the University of Florida and spent seven seasons at the University of South Carolina coaching under Steve Spurrier.
