Will the XFL “merger” save the CFL? Does the CFL need saving or will it survive on its own. These questions have been floating around for weeks now, and we continue to do our best to bring you the most comprehensive coverage possible regarding the XFL-CFL partnership talks. There’s a showdown at high noon, between the fellas and Arash Madani, over the XFL and why he thinks the CFL doesn’t need them. It’s an interesting turn, to say the least, as Arash seems to be in the solutions business too. Also, Spring League head honcho Brian Woods stops in to discuss the next season of his league and the expansion of it. This is a can’t miss episode.
The Markcast® is a sports-centric podcast hosted by Reid Johnson, covering news and opinions related to the CFL, XFL, USFL and other "alt-football" leagues outside the NFL.

The CFL will survive without an XFL merger but would be better with the XFL. They should play 3 down football with a couple XFL teams included in 2021.
