We previously reported that Houston Ruffnecks head coach June Jones talked about the XFL’s process for securing the teams tier-one QB’s. XFL Teams provided a list to the league by priority from their #1 choice to their 9th choice.
It looks like the LA Wildcats have made it know who their #1 choice for their tier 1 QB could be. Former San Diego Chargers quarterback Cardale Jones who was recently cut by the team on NFL cut down day.

According to Tom Krasovic of the San Diego Union-Tribune, Wildcats Offensive Coordinator Norm Chow has his eye on Cardale Jones.
“You would hope that this league would entice people like Cardale and give them a platform.”
“A guy like Cardale would be very valuable in my mind to the XFL.”
“Why would a team not be interested in a young man like that?” Chow said. “He’s big, he’s strong, he can throw the ball, he moves OK. He certainly will help some football team somewhere.”
Jones, a fourth-round pick of the Bills in 2016, was traded to the Chargers in 2017. He spent the 2018 season on their practice squad.
Jones was the talk of the preseason and getting the former Ohio State Buckeye in the XFL could be a big win for the league.
