XFL Updates Job Site, Adds Director Of Payroll, SVP Of Ticket Sales

The XFL is building towards the 2023 return to the field. We know the league is in Dallas, Texas, meeting with the new eight XFL head coaches. With the new XFL brand launched and coaches, more jobs around the league need to be filled.

Before, the XFL posted their job openings on Indeed and LinkedIn. It looks like they have now changed things to ADP.

The new jobs postings are Director of Payroll, Senior Vice President of Ticket Sales, and Staff Accountant. The Director of Payroll job is based in Arlington, Texas, following our own Mike Mitchell’s reporting that the XFL plans to have their home base in Texas. In the XFL 2.0 era, the home base was Stamford, Connecticut, home of the WWE.

Director Of Payroll Job Posting – Arlington Texas

“Reporting to the CFO, the Director Payroll will oversee and manage the organizations payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with federal and state regulations. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience managing and processing payroll for a large organization in a multi-state environment and have excellent attention to detail. “

SVP Ticket Sales – Remote

“The Senior, Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service will be responsible for developing and managing sales and service campaigns for the XFL’s teams (domestic and international) across a full menu of ticket products, including season memberships, group tickets, suites, and individual game tickets, including pricing, packaging and retention strategies and oversee ticket operations across league and team markets.”

Staff Accountant – New York or Remote

“The Staff Accountant supports XFL’s day-to-day accounting operations, as well as month-end close process, account reconciliation, AP and AR functions, sales & use tax reporting, finance system implementation and other projects. This position must demonstrate strong independent reasoning, critical thinking, ability to multi-task, and strong attention to detail. “

The ticket sales job is interesting because it references season tickets for domestic and international. If the XFL were planning on playing in a hub season, why fill this position now. Mike Mitchell is reporting that the eight XFL teams will be in the US for 2023. So maybe the hub season is in place, but the plan is to move away from that model for the 2024 season. We will have to wait to find out. The XFL is currently working on securing venue deals and is expected to make some announcements over the next several months, per their latest coaching press release.

    Mark,

I hate the Hub Model. No fans will show up for USFL games unless Birmingham is playing. Need fans in the stands!!!

    FYI: XFL News Hub Rocks!!!
