XFL Coaches Meet In Dallas To Talk 2023 Season, Hub In Texas With The Rock & Dany Garcia

XFL News Hub and our insider Mike Mitchell have been reporting that XFL coaches and league officials were meeting in Dallas, Texas, to talk about the upcoming 2023 season. The meeting aims to talk about roster sizes, hiring coaching staff, plans for cities, and more.

All eight head coaches are currently hiring their staff as we speak, and we should have some word of who over the next several weeks. Don’t be surprised to hear assistant coaching names from the XFL 2.0 era returning to the league.

Based on this Instagram post from Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson confirms what Mike Mitchell has been talking about in terms of an XFL HQ. The new XFL headquarters will be based in Dallas, Texas.

After meeting with coaches and officials in Dallas Texas.

“THANK YOU to the great football state of TEXAS – our official @XFL HQ 🏈

Tremendous day for our XFL organization as we begin to stand our league up and grow the game of football.

And THANK YOU to our incredible partners for the big, amazing Texas welcome you gave us.

Handshakes and deals.
All In.

As far as the XFL having a hub season similar to the USFL, Mike Mitchell provided an update in his latest article. The plan right now is to have all XFL teams in Dallas during the week, then fly to home locations on games.

“Recently sources have indicated that the XFL has been pivoting from having a potential fully-fledged hub setting for the league. And leaning more towards setting up central league headquarters in Texas for all eight teams. The idea is that teams would practice together and have mini and training camps in Texas before playing games in local markets during the season.”

If only we were closer to getting the team cities announced. We know of Orlando, San Antonio, and Las Vegas because they’re obviously not returning to Tampa, New York, and Los Angeles.
